Who we are

SwissPay.ai is a PayPal-managed payment facilitator operated by MintAds Inc. It provides merchant accounts and card and PayPal-wallet processing for US and Canadian businesses across a range of risk profiles. In this policy, "SwissPay", "we", "us" and "our" refer to SwissPay.ai. This policy applies to personal data we process through swisspay.ai and our application and onboarding flows.

What we collect

We collect information you provide when you apply or contact us, including your name, business name, email, phone, website, business category, processing volume and any details you add to a message. When you use our services we also process transaction and account data needed to process and settle payments.

We collect limited technical data automatically, such as IP address, device and browser information, and pages viewed, to operate the site securely and understand how it is used.

How we use your data

We use your data to review and underwrite applications, board and support your business, provide payment services, prevent fraud, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and communicate with you about your account or request. We do not sell your personal data.

How we share it

We share data only as needed to deliver the service: with PayPal, which processes card and PayPal transactions as our managed-path partner, with payment and technology service providers who work on our behalf under contract, and with regulators, auditors or law enforcement where the law requires. Payment card data is handled within SwissPay's PCI DSS Level 1 environment.

Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and regulatory record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Security

Our platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Switzerland. We protect data with TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and encryption at rest, a tokenized card vault, access controls, and multi-factor authentication on in-scope systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we maintain safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our support site and we will respond within the period required by law.
